Last week I went on my annual backpacking trip in the Sierra Nevada, this time with my two brothers and two friends. A fantastic, challenging time – no communication with the outside world for 8 days. On our last day, I did portraits of everyone. This is my older brother, Gary.

We did photography for the Jr. Philharmonic at the Walt Disney Concert Hall last week. I set up a remote camera with a blimp (to eliminate distracting shutter noise) and did a time-lapse video of the entire concert.
