An art director friend gave me the opportunity to contribute to a wall calendar for an aerospace company.  The theme was &#8220;Flight&#8221;.  My somewhat willing model was my very mellow cat, Jake.   We set up a platform topped with a soft pad outdoors and my assistant dropped Jake many times from a height [...]]]></description>

<p>An art director friend gave me the opportunity to contribute to a wall calendar for an aerospace company.  The theme was &#8220;Flight&#8221;.  My somewhat willing model was my very mellow cat, Jake.   We set up a platform topped with a soft pad outdoors and my assistant dropped Jake many times from a height of about 3 feet while I shot against the sky.</p>
<p>Note: No felines were harmed in the making of this photograph.</p>
